Welcome to Eaton Street Recreation Ground

Eaton Street Park, Prescot, has received the prestigious Green Flag in recognition of its excellently maintained public space.

It now boasts a restored Memorial Garden, a brand new children’s play area, and a wildflower meadow on the site of the former pitch-and-putt.

Volunteers from the Friends of Eaton Street Park have collaborated with Knowsley Council and Prescot Town Council to improve the park in hope of achieving the coveted status.

The national award, handed out by environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy, recognises and rewards the best parks and green spaces across the country. A Green Flag flying overhead is a sign to visitors that the space boasts the highest possible standards, is beautifully maintained and has excellent facilities
